Leaking Baghouse, Dust Collector
or Air Pollution Device?
An AeroPulse retrofit solves
the problem in hot mix plants.
AeroPulse offers you more experience in asphalt plant applications than
any other baghouse manufacturer. Weve supplied hundreds of baghouses
for hot mix plants, including stationary and portable units.
For poorly designed or worn out baghouses, we can frequently retrofit
the existing unit while saving ductwork, hoppers, conveyors and other
components. The result is a state-of-the-art dust removal system at a
fraction of the cost of a new unit.
AeroFelt™ bags provide more efficient dust removal.
Our bags feature a unique construction that combines fibers of varying
thicknesses to provide better filtration. AeroFelt material, combined
with smaller diameter bags and more open space, let us retrofit a leaking
collector so it will meet codes.
Smaller bag diameter provides more efficient cleaning.
Our pulse-jet collectors have 4 1/2” diameter
bags rather than the 6” diameter bags normally used. Smaller bags
clean better to help you meet codes.
More open space between bags provides more efficient operation.
Almost all manufacturers use 6” diameter bags on 8” centers.
Our
4 1/2” diameter bags are on 7” or 7” x 8” centers.
Because there is more open space between bags, the upward velocity of
gas within the baghouse is lower, and less dust is re-entrained. Smaller
bags and more open space give you a lower pressure drop at the same air
flow. This lower pressure drop helps the collector meet codes and
maximizes production. It also results in less horsepower. Electrical costs
can be guaranteed.
True
top bag removal provides more efficient maintenance.
With an AeroPulse
baghouse, bag, cage and venturi are removed as a complete unit with a
single quarter-turn of our “Taper Lock” Venturi. No one ever has to enter
the collector to change bags. The venturi design also provides lateral
stability that prevents bags from moving in the gas stream and reduces
wear.
