Baghouse Housing with Bags Installed to mate with existing Hopper/Dust Handling. Plenum assemblies available to modify existing collectors.
If you have: You can benefit with:
1.) Damaged or worn out baghouses - Quick return to service
- Salvage costly non-damaged components
  of your system
- Use existing ductwork
2.) Poorly designed baghouses - The superior design of the AeroPulse pulse
jet which is designed to help you, the user.
3.) Existing shaker or reverse air units - Increased capacity up to 250%
- Modern, low maintenance pulse jets
- Use of existing dust handling equipment

Here is how it works
Dust-laden air enters the collector but only clean air is passed through the filter bags. As dust accumulates on the bags, they are cleaned by an adjustable, fractional second pulse of high pressure air opposite the incoming filtered air. This pulse, used on only a fraction of the bags at a time, produces a reverse flow of air sufficient to clean the filter bags. The pulse is controlled by a solid state timer – no moving parts. Both frequency and duration of the pulse are readily adjustable to your specific application.

Outstanding features:
REVERSE PULSE CLEANING
– utilizing felt as the filter media.

NO INTERNAL MOVING PARTS – eliminating mechanical shakers and compartmenting valves.

TRUE TOP REMOVAL OF BAGS – bag, cage, venturi removed as a single assembly from a hole 1/2” larger than the bag. This guarantees when there is a hole in the bag, the bag expands – it does not become larger than the hole. Therefore it can still be removed from the top making our unit a true top bag removal type unit.

INSTANT BAG REMOVAL – quarter turn “Taper Lock”. No nuts or bolts to rust or seize.

ALL EXTERNAL VALVES BROUGHT TO TOP OF UNIT - This eliminates the need for costly external catwalks.

HANDLES DUST STREAMS TO 500° F – achieved through use of high temperature bags of Woven Glass with PTFE membrane. Nomex to 400°F Polyester to 275°F.

SOLID STATE TIMERNo moving parts. All components on instantly removable plug-in circuit boards – a complete timer installation in seconds.

ALL WELDED CONSTRUCTION – Continuously welded housing, hopper and plenum eliminates hundreds of feet of caulked joints. There is no possibility of air or water leaking into an all welded AeroPulse Collector through dried out or improperly caulked joints.

Continuous welding of all tubesheet joints – assures no leakage of dust through bolted and caulked connections into the atmosphere.

Less compressed air is used. A 4 1/2” diameter bag has almost one half the volume of the same length 6”diameter bag. Although more 4 1/2” diameter bags are required for the same air-to-cloth ratio, the compressed air requirements are less because the total volume of the bags (and hence the compressed air requirements) are less-about one third less. Compressed air is expensive, so the savings are significant.

High pressure designs for 100 psig or higher operation, with ASME code stamp.

Manufacture from exotic metals such as Inconel, Hastelloy or other special, weldable metals, including venturis, cages and piping.

INSULATION OPTION – Keeps units in “like new” condition / avoid dew points.

Steps for Retrofit
1.) Review existing systems with the AeroPulse Sales Engineer.
2.) Provide drawing of existing shell if available.
3.) Provide compressed air to existing shell.
4.) Disconnect outlet duct and remove top of existing collector.
5.) Make necessary shell preparation to accept retrofit.
6.) Install new pulse jet retrofit – plenum or plenum/housing.
7.) Tie in electrical connections for pulse timer.
8.) Tie in compressed air supply to the manifold.
9.) Connect outlet duct.
