Lime Industry
AeroPulse has furnished several collectors on Lime Kilns.
AeroPulse also furnished process and nuisance dust collectors in this
industry.
We’re also interested in retro-fitting reverse air and shaker collectors
on kilns, process and nuisance applications. This will lead to increased
air flow and reduce the pressure drop leading to lower electrical costs
that can be guaranteed.
Many lime dust collectors are conservatively sized. The
smaller diameter bags that AeroPulse uses results in a lower pressure
drop. Depending on the application we can guarantee a 2" pressure
drop. This amounts to .37 kilowatts per 1,000 cfm. On a 100,000 cfm
system we can guarantee a 37 kilowatt/hr savings. At .05/kilowatt hour
this would amount to a $15,000 electrical savings per 8,000 hour year.
