Carbon Black

AeroPulse has been active in the carbon black industry since 1980, supplying process, unit, vapor, dense phase and exhaust air pulse jet collectors. Our collectors have used both felted and woven style filter media.

Spray Drying

 

AeroPulse services the spray drying industry at the O.E.M. level as well as the end user. Unique designs offer superior performance and cost savings. Operating at higher filter rates, reduces the overall size of equipment, power consumption and overall cost.

Asphalt Industry

AeroPulse has been a leading supplier to the asphalt industry for over 35 years. We have designed and installed over 200 baghouses in the hot mix applications, some of which are still in operation after 35 years. This installed base provides us with extensive data on long term performance on these applications. When a baghouse can’t handle the required airflow, it directly affects your productivity. With millions of dollars of road building equipment and crews of twenty or more at the jobsite, the inability to lay the optimum tonnage can cost you hundreds of dollars per hour. Lime Industry

 

AeroPulse has furnished several collectors on Lime Kilns. This will lead to increased airflow and reduce the pressure drop leading to lower electrical costs that can be guaranteed.

Quarries, Rock Dust, Sand and Gravel

 

We often have applications for collectors in the quarry industry handling nuisance rock dust or on occasion sand and gravel. We can normally operate at a filter rate of approximately 8 to 1 on the nuisance applications.

On dryer applications in this industry we normally operate at a filter rate of 6.0 to 1 and often insulate the unit. Whether or not we use Nomex depends on the temperature of the dryer.

Incinerator Industry

 

AeroPulse has many collectors on incinerators, and we have exceeded the success rate for the European code on toxin and dioxin of 0.1 ng/M3.

Retro-fit / Custom Equipment

AeroPulse has been retrofitting older style shaker type and conventional type baghouses for over 35 years. Our unique approach can provide you with the airflow volume you need at a fraction of the cost of installing a new baghouse.

Wood Working Industries

 

It also operates at a 10 to 12 to 1 air to cloth ratio. The wood working industry can be handled very easily at a filter rate of about 10 to 12 to 1. Aside from compressed air units can also furnish a unit that is cleaned by a rotary positive displacement blower and large 3" valves. We can furnish this type of unit.

These units frequently require explosion relief.

Fertilizer Industry

 

There are a lot of bag collectors sold in the fertilizer industry. For nuisance dust ventilation the filter rate should be approximately 8 to 1. For any dryer application, it should be approximately 6 to 1. The biggest problem in this industry is the concern with moisture forming. Fertilizer is extremely microscopic and this is always a concern. Actually, the dryer might be an easier application then the nuisance collector since there is heat introduced into the dryer while the nuisance collector sits by itself in a cold spot.
