Cement Industry
AeroPulse has furnished baghouses on process systems in
the cement industry.
We furnished one of the first units handling the flow from a finish mill. The grain loading was over 300 grains/cubic foot.
AeroPulse has many nuisance dust collectors in the industry.
We have several baghouses on lime kilns. AeroPulse is looking to retro-fit
reverse air baghouses on cement kilns, process systems or nuisance applications.
It will increase air flow to the kiln and reduce the pressure drop leading
to lower electrical costs that can be guaranteed.
Many cement dust collectors are conservatively sized.
The smaller diameter bags that AeroPulse uses result in a lower pressure
drop. Depending on the application we can guarantee a 2" pressure
drop. This amounts to .37 kilowatts per 1,000 cfm. On a 100,000 cfm
system we can guarantee a 37 kilowatt/hour savings. At .05/kilowatt
hour this would amount to a $15,000 electrical savings per 8,000 hour
year.
